The Print Club of Rochester
The Print Club of Rochester’s juried show exhibition, Second Glance, will be happening in Ohringer Gallery from November 4 to December 3, 2016. The Print Club of Rochester is an organization that provided educational demonstrations, workshops, and lectures for enthusiastic printmaking members.
Second Glance is the first International Call organized by the Print Club of Rochester. With this exhibition, we hope to cast a large net over a Printmaking community that transcends perceived borders; geographically, technically and conceptually. We hope that Second Glance provides the audience with a broad, inclusive survey of the possibilities and potentials that Printmaking contributes to an evolving global visual culture.
“Second Glance is a juried show inspired by observations that go unnoticed. The constant influx of visuals and events in our lives, when observed closely, are often stranger than anything we could invent. Through a diverse selection of printmaking methods, this exhibition will examine these curiosities of everyday life. The exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept.”
